The Gadianton Devil doesn't like to die. Therefore it takes good advantage of its ability to "Walk through walls" and runs from combat anytime the tide turns against it. This makes it rather difficult to kill. Add to that the fact that it is rather difficult to hit in the first place and can deal out quite a bit of damage, and you can begin to see why the Gadianton Devil is quite aptly named.

Even though I am under the impression that these things are extremely rare, we have run into a second of the species (though, if I remember correctly, we were unable to exterminate the second one). This, however, might have been a good thing, because we wouldn't want to kill the last one, now would we??
